After a very successful Grins for a Good Cause campaign this year – thanks to everyone who participated via their Patterson branch and helped support the fight against breast cancer! – we were inspired to continue fundraising for a good cause.
Throughout the month of November, at the Patterson corporate office in St. Paul, Minn., and at branch locations across the country, including the South Florida Branch, employees turned their attention from breast cancer to prostate and testicular cancer by fundraising for the Movember Foundation.
Many of our typically clean-shaven employees joined millions of other men across the world to grow a moustache for the month of November. At the corporate office, we held a series of “donate to dress casually” events; the South Florida Branch reached out to friends and business partners for donations to the Movember Foundation. In total, we raised more than $2,600!
I want to personally thank everyone who participated and thank Patterson for supporting these types of fundraisers. It was great to see so many people giving so generously to fight cancer – and fun to see my colleagues sporting facial hair for a good cause!
