Dental practices across the country have been affected by COVID-19 and have their own unique stories to share. To meet this need, the American Dental Association (ADA) recently launched the JADA+ COVID-19 Monograph, a community-sourced archive, documenting the impact of COVID-19 on dentistry. This new initiative includes stories, reflections and personal accounts from myriad perspectives as told through articles, essays, podcasts, videos and more.
In a recent audio interview added to the JADA+ COVID-19 Monograph, Mohamed M. Ali, DDS, a general dentist at Lakeshore Dental in Minneapolis, spoke with Karen Scott, director of sales enablement at Patterson. Dr. Ali shares how his young practice was impacted by COVID-19, the importance of technology in growing his practice and the many ways Lakeshore Dental recovered from business closures. Participation in the JADA+ COVID-19 Monograph project is open to anyone in the dental industry who wishes to contribute. To access the free digital collection and to submit your stories, visit ada.org/covidmonograph.
