By 2010 Rich Cooper, DDS, and his staff members had built West Loop Dental Associates, Ltd. into a thriving practice in the trendy West Loop neighborhood of Chicago, Ill. As much as he enjoyed helping patients, Dr. Cooper felt that the day-to-day tasks of dentistry had become routine and the work was no longer challenging.
At the urging of his Patterson representative, Dr. Cooper paid a visit to another dentist who was using CEREC. He said he was “blown away by the technology,” and after looking at the hard numbers regarding costs and productivity, Dr. Cooper purchased a CEREC machine of his own.
